Hygiene and education are very important in our efforts to fight COVID-19. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that washing hands can help to keep citizens healthy and prevent the spread of respiratory infections from one person to the next.

With the help of the American Association’s Dallas Area, hundreds of soaps were donated to Catholic Charities Dallas and distributed to the vulnerable population with kids in their families. During food and soap distribution, volunteers had the chance to speak about the importance of hand washing to stop the spread of coronavirus. The soaps were designed by the Lerma advertising agency following CDC hygiene instructions and were targeted to encourage kids to wash their hands often.
