Knights and Dames of the Philadelphia Area gathered for our monthly First Saturday Salve Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish with Fr. Michael Phelan, O. de M., the pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Overbrook, presiding, Father James Mayer, O. de M., and one other visiting Mercedarian Father concelebrating.

After a quick and healthy breakfast, we held a short business meeting to discuss recent activities and upcoming events. Then after prayer, we rolled up our sleeves, donned our aprons, and got busy doing the Lord’s work, as we made meals for shut-ins in our community.
