This year’s Area Grants Program provided the Eastern Connecticut Area with the opportunity to award grants to a total of 9 local organizations and Area activities. Funding from this year’s program was put towards supporting local soup kitchens, food pantries, and community gardens, as well as providing support for local Area activities that members are actively involved in.This year’s grantees include St. Vincent de Paul Place in both Middletown and Norwich, Valley Shore YMCA, 5^th Monday Malta Meals Project, Birthright of Greater Westbrook, Annual Lourdes in a Day event , Holy Family Home & Shelter, St. Gianna Pregnancy Resource Center, and St. Patrick Outreach Committee.
