On a very warm and sunny Wednesday, July 16th, members of the NYC Area, Auxiliary, friends and guests from out of town met at St. Patrick’s Cathedral to assemble Malta Walks Bags filled with sandwiches, toiletries, lip balm, and electrolytes for the poor and sick in midtown Manhattan. After praying the Order of Malta Daily Prayer together, volunteers prepared 50 Malta Walks bags, while engaging in lively conversations. The group then set out toward Lexington Avenue, passing notable skyscrapers to distribute the bags to those in need before gathering at a nearby corporate lobby to cool off in the AC enjoying each other’s company and lively discussions.
