On Saturday, August 30th, members of the Northeast Florida Area observed the Memorial of the Passion of St. John the Baptist with prayer and fellowship at our Annual Morning of Recollection. This retreat is our opportunity to spend time in quiet prayer and reflection together, and prepare for a busy few months inspired by the example of our Patron.

After morning prayer, Msgr. Michael Morgan, ChM, led us through the nature and structure of our religious Order, its place in the Church, and how it is defined by its charism. He enjoined us to nurture and support our Order and its members, and to live vigorously and unabashedly the Catholic, the Apostolic, the Roman Faith. The talks were followed by Adoration, Confessions and Holy Mass, concluding with lunch.
