On Wednesday, October 1st, New Jersey Area Dames worked at Mary’s Hands, a Paterson Diocese Catholic Charities affiliated program, which offers intermediate support for a marginalized immigrant community. Mary’s Hands provides one-on-one family assistance with clothing and baby essentials, and as needed connects clients with local services available in the community. Our NJ Area Grant provides Pack n’ Plays with three infant stages, strollers, car seats as well as new clothes, diapers and wipes.

Every month, volunteers assist with inventorying donated goods, assembling layettes in different sizes, and aiding any clients that come in for assistance. In addition to family/baby supplies and non-perishables food pantry, volunteer opportunities in ESL services on Saturday mornings.
