The Southeast Florida Area joyfully celebrated the 50th anniversary of Chaplain Father Pat O’Neill’s priestly service. Each year, Father Pat organizes a Mass and brunch for members of the Order of Malta, their families, and friends. This year’s gathering included a surprise tribute to honor his remarkable milestone.

On behalf of the members, Area Co-Chairs Jack and Hawley McAuliffe presented Father Pat with a Chelsea clock, engraved with the heartfelt message: “God Bless You, Father Pat In Gratitude for 50 Years of Loving Service Order of Malta – Southeast Florida”

Former Area Chairs Sean Clancy and Mark Wolff shared words of appreciation for Father Pat’s decades of dedication. Newly appointed Area Co-Chairs Paul and Lynn Lawless, along with longtime member and friend Jorge Bosch, were also present to celebrate.

At the Investiture Weekend’s Annual Business Meeting in New York, Ken Craig, President of the Order of Malta, American Association, recognized Father Pat’s extraordinary commitment by conferring upon him the title of Conventual Chaplain ad honorem.
