Dress Code & Changing Rooms

The dress code for Masses and meetings is dark business suit for men and dark dress for women.

The dress code for the Reception and Annual Dinner is white tie and black tails for men, and evening dress for women. All Members of the Order wear the large decoration of the Order of Malta.

For the convenience of our Members, two suites will be available on Friday, November 14th at The Westin New York Grand Central for use as changing rooms between the afternoon and evening events. The changing room numbers will be sent by email. There will be a security guard in each room who will allow you access upon identifying yourself as a member of the Order of Malta by presenting photo identification. Keys will not be given out at the front desk. Only the security guards will have keys to the rooms.

Hotel Accommodations at The Westin – New York Grand Central (212 East 42nd Street)

A limited number of rooms have been blocked November 12th – 16th at The Westin New York Grand Central for guests attending Investiture Weekend. We encourage you to reserve your room early, as availability is limited and reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note: The cut-off date to reserve a room at the special group rate, while supplies last, is Monday, October 13th. Once the room block fills up, the rate will increase to $399 per night, which is still a competitive price for a premier New York City hotel.

Individual Portraits

Studio Eleven Production will be taking individual portraits of all newly invested attendees during the Investiture Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Optional individual portraits will be available during the Cocktail Reception at Cipriani 42nd Street. Guests who wish to have professional portraits taken are welcome to do so. All photos will be available online for viewing and purchase following Investiture Weekend. You will receive an email with details on how to access the photos once they are ready for viewing.
