Travel Information

  • The charter plane will be leaving from John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York. Since there are only 330 seats available on the charter, 30 pilgrims will be allowed to fly commercially roundtrip to Lourdes. Please register by Friday, January 9, 2026.
  • Charter Travelers: The cost to travel on the charter is $3,900 for Knights, Dames, Associates, Spouses, Chaplains (that are not a part of the Core Team), Volunteers and those in their Year of Formation. The cost for official Auxiliary Corps members is $1500. The charter will travel to and from Lourdes from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in Queens, New York. You are responsible to make your own travel arrangements to and from the chartered airplane.
  • Commercial Travelers: The cost to travel commercially is $2,900 for Knights, Dames, Associates, Spouses, Chaplains (that are not a part of the Core Team), Volunteers and those in their Year of Formation. The cost for official Auxiliary Corps members is $1,500. Commercial Travelers are responsible to make their own travel arrangements to and from Lourdes. To ensure the Lourdes Pilgrimage runs smoothly and that we have balanced teams for Hosts, Pushers, and Pullers, we kindly ask that those flying commercially plan to arrive in Lourdes no later than the charter group’s arrival time. This allows commercial travelers to assist their Malades and Caregivers promptly. Last year, we tested having Commercial Travelers arrive later than the charter, but this did not work out as expected and created logistical challenges. Aligning arrival times will help us avoid these issues and provide the best support for all participants. Additionally commercial travelers are not permitted to depart Lourdes before Tuesday, May 5th, the same day the charter is scheduled to depart.
  • Malades, Caregivers, Core Team Members, and Medical Team Members are not eligible to fly commercially. They must fly on the Charter.
  • The way you travel to Lourdes is the same way you will travel back. If you are booked on the charter roundtrip, you must remain on the charter for both outbound and return flights. Deviating from this policy is not permitted, as it would take away a seat from someone who wished to fly roundtrip on the charter and could create logistical challenges for our teams.
  • All Cost includes hotel accommodations with private baths (double occupancy). Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, hotel taxes and gratuities.
  • A limited amount of single hotel accommodations are available for an additional $800.
  • A valid passport is required for this pilgrimage. Because you are traveling to France, your passport must be valid six months beyond your intended return date. Your passport should be valid through November 5, 2026.
  • The Pilgrimage, with full assigned responsibility for a Malade, may qualify for a deduction; refer to section 501(c)(3) of the tax code. Please consult your tax advisor.
  • All pilgrims must have completed a background check and taken the Safe Environment Course prior to approval of their registration.
  • Knights and Dames need to be current with their Annual Contribution to attend the pilgrimage.
  • All cancellations must be received by email on or before Friday, February, 27, 2026. After February 27th, there will be no refunds. This policy will be applied according to the email cancelation date.
