On Sunday, June 13th, Malteser International Americas completed its final mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic and administered a total of 628 shots in 12 sites in New York and New Jersey.
This would not have been possible without the help of the many volunteers who staffed several clinics at ArchCare’s Harlem PACE Center to make it possible to serve frontline workers, the elderly and vulnerable. These vaccine clinics served some of the underserved and hard to reach areas whose needs are equally important — the homeless, the unemployed, the low income and the migrant communities in midtown Manhattan, Yonkers, the Bronx and Newark.
