The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage Processes Through Manhattan

05/30/2024

Over Memorial Day Weekend, American Association members from NYC, Connecticut, Westchester, New Jersey, and Long Island participated in the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage as the Seton Route processed through Manhattan. Members congregated at the St. Frances Cabrini Shrine for Mass and a lecture on Mother Cabrini, at St. Vincent Ferrer Church for a Night of Adoration, and at St. Patrick’s Cathedral for the Cardinal’s Mass and where Dames and Knights joined religious order members for Benediction following Mass on the front steps of the Cathedral on Fifth Avenue.

Members also processed with the Eucharist through the streets of midtown and lower Manhattan, with stops for Benediction at St. Peter’s Church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine, and Benediction at the Brooklyn Bridge.

It was beautiful to see so many joyous pilgrims accompany and worship the Eucharist as it was processed through Manhattan, as the Seton Route continues towards its ultimate destination, the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis in July.
