The Order of Malta’s Missouri Area recently joined several congregations and organizations in supporting the Xavier Winter Inn, located at St. Francis Xavier College Church on the campus of St. Louis University. This collaborative ministry provides overflow emergency shelter for homeless men during the coldest winter nights—specifically when temperatures drop below 25 degrees.

Operated entirely by volunteers, the Winter Inn offers guests a warm dinner, safe overnight lodging, and breakfast the following morning. Through this effort, the Missouri Area continues its mission of serving those most vulnerable during the harsh winter season.
